Performance and economic analysis of building structures with different levels of insulation
My thesis examines the energy performance and economic efficiency of buildings with varying levels of insulation. The goal is to identify thermal insulation solutions that optimize the balance between investment and operational costs while adhering to current energy regulations, such as the European EPBD directive.
It includes an assessment of regulations and a detailed analysis of three insulation levels: basic, intermediate and advanced.
